the structure of your business determines the success of your business
When I started resume writing as a hobby, I had NO idea that I would be where I am today! I've had the privilege to impact THOUSANDS of professionals in the world.
Whether it was a standing room only keynote speaking engagement at MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology), standing on a stage at a Fortune 500 organization like Walmart, the TEDx stage at Kennesaw State University inspiring others with my story, or coaching executive clients one-on-one from the InterviewSnob office, this entrepreneurial journey has been an incredible gift. In addition to professional development and personal growth, the ONE thing that I've invested the most time and resources into has been SYSTEMS! I cannot do what I do with out a sound business structure and proper systems in place. |
When my last assistant told me she was resigning to travel to Africa for missions work, I was happy for her, but personally devastated! I couldn't believe that I would have to start from square one with someone else. Over the years, I've tried virtual assistants and virtual assistant companies, but ultimately, it just wasn't the same. Month after month, I was burning cash ( I really didn't have to spend) without getting the flexibility and turn on a dime service I needed to thrive with a living, breathing, small business.
After sitting with frustration long enough, I noticed the one thing EVERY assistant had in place: systems. And if you know me at all, I am definitely a "I'll figure-it-out" kinda of boss lady. So I assessed my business needs, made some observations, did my research, and tested WAY TOO MANY systems to count. BUT I set-up a business structure and systemized it.
Now I run my business with ease and the flexibility of having personnel support as needed!! And did I mention, my business consistently experiences year-over-year growth as a solopreneur?!

do you need systems in your business?
If you are a new coach or have been in the industry for any amount of time, I know you wish there was a crash course on systems that you can easily implement to build a business that you love. A way to have a beautifully designed, high-end type of feel business, but on a show string budget, I know I did! I wanted to focus on my passion and purpose, serving others, without being tangled up in administrative tasks.
I recently started a professional development series for coaches and this is course #2 in that series! My first course ALIGNMENT taught coaches how to market their business through authentic branding and leveraging their personal story to attract their ideal clients. Now that their businesses are taking off, I decided to roll out my new course Systems for the Solopreneur Coach. |
